Hofstra University Summer Science Research Program

The 2026 Hofstra University Summer Science Research Program (“HUSSRP”) will run from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 31, 2026 with a poster session tentatively to be scheduled in early to mid- August. Please note these are the general dates but a slightly altered schedule may be agreed upon between Mentor and Mentee.

The application deadlines are as follows:

Mon, January 12, 2026: Application due
Mon, January 19, 2026: Teacher recommendation form due. Forms will be sent directly to the teacher upon your application submission with their contact info. Please be in close contact with them to expect the e-mail and to ensure they meet their deadline.
Late January - mid March: Mentors may reach out to candidates for virtual interviews
Mon, March 23, 2026: Notification of acceptance or denial

Please note all fees are non-refundable and due by:

Mon, Jan 12, 2026: $65 application fee
Mon, Mar 30, 2026: $2,050 tuition (can submit $350 deposit on this date)
Mon, May 11, 2026: $1,700 tuition balance (if only paid $350 deposit to date)
