Virtual College For A Day: Film Course

Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 12:30 PM until 1:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

Hofstra University invites you to join a virtual course designed to give you an idea of what it is like to be a college student. In this session Professor Hill will discuss Stanley Kubrick and his “trilogy” of science-fiction films; Dr. Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, and 2001: A Space Odyssey. The discussion will focus on 2001 as both a cautionary tale about the over-reliance on technology as well as an optimistic musing on the potentially transcendent future of humanity. Join the discussion and get your questions answered!

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
