We look forward to personally welcoming you to Hofstra University’s Lawrence Herbert School of Communication Summer Visit Day!

During our Herbert School of Communication Summer Visit Day, you will have the opportunity to attend an admission information session as well as an academic overview, where you will learn about admission, scholarships and financial aid; and meet with a representative from the Herbert School of Communication. You will learn more about the many opportunities available to students interested in a career in communication.

Highlights at our Herbert School of Communication Summer Visit Day include:
    • A Herbert School overview with Dean Mark Lukasiewicz in Studio A.
    • Touring the facilities such as Studio A where live broadcasts are recorded, the Foley Lab where audio recordings are made, 88.7 FM WRHU radio station where we broadcast live 24/7, the NewsHub where our students edit and plan their projects, the Equipment Room where students rent our industry standard equipment, and the Video Control rooms where our live broadcasts are managed during production.
    • Meeting with faculty from the Herbert School and getting your questions answered.
Following your information session and academic overview, you will tour campus with one of our Pride Guides (student tour guides). During the tour you will experience what it is like to be a student and learn about the many ways Hofstra will set you up for success.

    Check-in begins at 10 a.m. and programming begins at 10:15 a.m.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
