We look forward to personally welcoming you to Hofstra University's Fred DeMatteis School of Engineering and Applied Science Summer Visit Day!

During our DeMatteis School Summer Visit Day, you will have the opportunity to attend an admission information session as well as an academic overview, where you will learn about admission, scholarships and financial aid; and meet with a representative from the DeMatteis School. You will learn more about the many opportunities available to students interested in a career in engineering, computer science or computer engineering.

Highlights at the DeMatteis School Summer Visit Day include:
    • Touring the engineering labs such as the Mechatronics Lab, First Year Design Lab, Adams Garage for civil engineers, and the Cell & Tissue Lab
    • Meeting with engineering faculty at each lab to talk more about what you can expect to do in each lab as an engineer
    • Learning more about the different disciplines within engineering so you can start thinking about where you fit in best
Following your information session and academic overview, you will tour campus with one of our Pride Guides (student tour guides). During the tour you will experience what it is like to be a student and learn about the many ways Hofstra will set you up for success.

    Check-in begins at 10 a.m. and programming begins at 10:15 a.m.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
