He also runs the Hofstra Death Penalty Justice Project, unique in the world, in which teams of faculty and students—graduate and advanced undergraduate—work together to reanalyze language evidence--a confession, recorded conversation, or interrogation—that was crucial to a conviction and sentence of death.
